La riapertura del Cristallo, unico albergo 5 stelle della località regina delle Dolomiti, rappresenta in termini di eleganza, storia e cultura l’arte de vivre e l’ospitalità più raffinata. Negli anni ha ospitato re e regine, capi di Stato e star del cinema, ha accolto feste memorabili e set cinematografici. Oggi è simbolo di rinascita per l’intera località e, per l’estate, accoglie gli ospiti nelle sue spaziose ed eleganti camere e suite con vista mozzafiato sulle cime.
La Cristallo Ultimate SPA con area relax e piscina interna sarà aperta solo su prenotazione per gli ospiti dell’hotel; i trattamenti beauty by Transvital e l’Hair Salon Aldo Coppola, saranno accessibili anche al pubblico esterno, sempre su prenotazione.
Privilegiato il contatto con il paesaggio, per una vacanza dove riappropriarsi dei ritmi lenti della natura e assaporare il piacere dell’alta cucina dello chef Marco Pinelli. Nei tre ristoranti dell’albergo: LA VERANDA, LA STUBE 1872 e IL GAZEBO, da cui si gode un panorama incredibile, la colazione, in questa stagione sarà servita al tavolo, come il lunch e la cena. Inoltre, si potrà prenotare anche il tavolo privato dello chef per cene esclusive. Lo chef ha un background internazionale di grande livello dal The Dorchester di Londra al Capri Palace di Capri. Ogni Paese o città che lo ha ospitato gli ha dato stimoli diversi, intensi, mettendolo nella condizione di reinventarsi. La sua filosofia si riassume nel rispettare la ricchezza delle materie prime del territorio con un’impronta campana, ortaggi, fiori, erbe spontanee, selvaggina e caratterizzarle con interpretazioni gourmet.
L’albergo quest’estate ospita la galleria di immagini dal titolo “I VOLTI DELLO SCI A CORTINA D’AMPEZZO” a cura di ALESSANDRO TROVATI e GABRIELE FACCIOTTI di PENTAPHOTO, agenzia fotografica ufficiale di Fondazione Cortina 2021, e GIACOMO POMPANIN. Tra i protagonisti i campioni dello sci e i fondatori di Mondiali 2021, Alessandro Benetton presidente, Valerio Giacobbe ad, Alberto Ghezze, tecnico sportivo della nazionale femminile di sci alpino, ora direttore. Una narrazione che racconta l’anima dello sport di Cortina, che è pronta a proiettarsi nel 2021 per i prossimi Mondiali insieme a Milano e per il 2026 nei Giochi Olimpici.

In Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the heart of Dolomites, the summer season restarts on July 3 and it will be devoted to the awakening of the senses, the well-being, the discovery of life pleasures, such as walking looking at the Tofane, relaxing in the spa or tasting the best of the cuisine which offers international and typical dishes.
The reopening of the hotel Cristallo, the only 5-star hotel in Cortina – the queen of the Dolomites – represents the art of living and the most refined hospitality in terms of elegance, history and culture. Over the years, kings and queens, heads of state and movie celebrities have stayed here and unforgettable parties and movie sets have been hosted. Nowadays, it is a symbol of rebirth for the whole city and, in summer, it welcomes guests in its elegant rooms and suites offering a breathtaking view of the peaks.
The Cristallo Ultimate SPA, equipped with a resting area and an indoor pool, will be open only upon request for the guests of the hotel. The beauty treatments by Transvital and the Hair Salon Aldo Coppola will also be accessible to the external public, always upon request. An holiday which promotes the contact with the surrounding landscapes, the slow pace of nature and the pleasures of the haute cuisine by chef Marco Pinelli. In the three restaurants of the hotel – La Veranda, La Stube 1872 and Il Gazebo – with an amazing panoramic view, breakfast will be served at the table this season, as well as lunch and dinner. And, in addition, it is possible to book the private table of the chef to enjoy an exclusive dinner. Three different locations to discover products and flavours of a territory full of surprises and to enjoy gastronomic itineraries enriched by an international touch. “My cuisine is instinctive, it is the result of my current feelings and strongly reflects my personality”, explains Marco Pinelli. “The inspiration comes from a simple walk, a scent in the air, from every little or big thing able to stir a strong emotion”.
The chef boasts a great international background, from The Dorchester in London to the Capri Palace in Capri. Every country or city he has lived in gave him different and intense incentives, allowing him to reinvent himself. His philosophy is focused on respecting the wealth of raw materials of each country (vegetables, flowers, wild herbs, game) and giving character to them with gourmet proposals. Anyway, he does not forget his Campania origins .The hotel, this summer hosts the picture gallery entitled “I volti dello Sci a Cortina d’Ampezzo” by Alessandro Trovati and Gabriele Facciotti of Pentaphoto, official photographic agency of Fondazione Cortina 2021, and Giacomo Pompanin. Among the protagonists: the ski champions and the founders of Mondiali 2021, president Alessandro Benetton, CEO Valerio Giacobbe, Alberto Ghezze, sports coach of the women’s national team of alpine skiing, now director. A story about the spirit of the sport of Cortina, which is ready to project itself into 2021 for the next world championship, together with Milan, and into 2026 for the Olympic Games.
