A Saint Tropez il raduno delle più belle vele al mondo
CON LO SPIRITO AUDACE E GUASCONE I 3200 VELISTI DI 20 NAZIONALITÀ, INSIEME AD APPASSIONATI DI VELA E MEDIA, HANNO CONCLUSO IL RADUNO, DI QUESTO ANTICO SPORT CHE RICONDUCE AI VALORI ETICI DELLA MARINERIA, DELL’EDIZIONE 2021 DELLE VOILES DE SAINT TROPEZ. 132 yacht moderni, 82 classici, seguiti nella seconda settimana da 45 maxi yacht, hanno disputato nelle due settimane, le regate delle diverse categorie, festaggiando con il Presidente Pierre Roinson, con la Societè Nautique e tutto il team, con grande entusiasmo il 40mo anniversario della Niolargue, poi diventata l’attuale Les Voiles. “HO RICEVUTO ALL’UNANIMITÀ COMPLIMENTI E SODDISFAZIONI PER QUESTA NUOVA FORMULA DELLE DUE SETTIMANE, IL RISULTATO È STATO OTTIMO, HA DATO MODO DI SOTTOLINEARE L’IMPORTANZA DELLE DIVERSE CATEGORIE DI IMBARCAZIONI” ha sottolineato il Presidente. La regata, oggi, ha assunto una valenza internazionale, le più belle barche a vela giunte dai Caraibi, dall’Europa tutta, e da tutto il mondo, hanno gremito il porto con le loro vele variopinte, i guidoni dei diversi Yacht Club, e il campo di regata, regalando grande spettacolo ed emozioni per le condizioni di vento che hanno messo a dura prova gli equipaggi. Il Wally Cento Magic Carpet Cubed, di Sir Linsay Owen Jones ha lottato fino al traguardo per accapparrarsi la vittoria in IRCI e sottolineare il suo titolo di Campione del Mondo, il Wally 77 Lyra, ha vinto numerosi premi. Anche il duello tra le due classi J Topaz e Velsheda, dove il primo è riuscito a strappare la vittoria, ha creato momenti di vera suspense. Un Rendez Vous di grande empatia, dove audacia, tecnica, spirito di gruppo e lifestyle si incontrano ogni anno per rinnovare la magia del luogo e la tradizione del passato.
